The Senior Accountant will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial management, supporting internal teams, and maintaining strong relationships with partners and clients.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure the implementation of the company’s vision, values, and principles.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality work and optimal client service.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and partners.
- Provide accounting support and expertise to the team.
- Ensure compliance with timelines, procedures, and internal processes.
- Maintain accurate filing, archiving, and documentation systems.
- Identify and propose new ways to support the growth of the company’s accounts.
- Participate actively in New Business proposals and initiatives for portfolio development.
- Stay informed about developments in advertising, media, and technology to support best practices.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company and client information.
- Record all financial transactions, including purchase invoices, sales invoices, payments, and receipts, in the accounting system.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of all supporting financial documents.
- Prepare monthly partner and supplier reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Contribute to monthly closing procedures, including bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly payment schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analyses.
- Monitor Budget Control and Income per Client reports on a monthly basis.
- Review invoices per client and per project in coordination with other departments.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
- Monitor outstanding balances and communicate clearly with partners regarding payments.
- Collaborate with all departments to ensure accurate financial tracking per project and per client.
- Ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and integrity of all financial data.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in a senior accounting or similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with accounting systems and reconciliations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
